Our dear friend and colleague Melissa Jill launched her new website last week. The website is fantastic and it is so her. It fits her brand perfectly. She is cutting edge and always on the cusp of industry trends and it shows because her business is growing by leaps and bounds. She is one of the first to make video a part of the marketing of her business and I commend her for it. She is not afraid to take a chance to make her business stand out. One of the greatest features of her new website is the video she has on it talking to couples about why they should hire Melissa to shoot their wedding photos. Now of course in honor of full disclosure I must tell you that Melissa Jill hired Serendipity Videography to shoot and edit her video which might be part of the reason it is so awesome…. That aside Photographers are notorious for being camera shy and I loved that she didn’t use herself to sell her business she used previous clients. It really is a brilliant marketing strategy. The video was the number one thing people commented on when they took a look at her new website because the concept was new and fresh. In an age of social media and reality television clients want to know you on a personal level and what you are about. They want to identify with you. Adding a video to your website helps clients see if your personality matches theirs and if you will be a good fit for them. It is something everyone should integrate into their website or blog. That being said Serendipity Videography has done a number of these videos for all types of wedding vendors including Ray The DJ for his website, Jennifer Bowen Photography for her website, Kimberly Jarman Photography for the Grand Opening of her new storefront studio, Jennifer Bowen and Kim Jarman together for their Create Better Images Photography Workshop, for Sergio Photographer for a photo shoot he did for Serendipity Videography, HIP for their website to showcase a fundraiser they did, The Sanctuary venue video, Montelucia venue video, Troon North Golf Club venue video, Hotel Valley Ho venue video, Sassi venue video, Grayhawk venue video and Westin Kierland venue video and we have  many more in production. This is an invaluable service that Serendipity Videography is offering wedding vendors in the valley. So call us and we will create your Vendor Film. Check out Melissa Jill’s Film and her fabulous new website!!
