Shannon and Mark had a traditional Jewish Orthodox wedding at The Arizona Biltmore complete with the Bedeken and Tisch, the signing of the Ketubah, the Chuppah, the breaking of the glass and of course the Hora dance. This couple has been together 6 years so this union was a long time coming and this couple was ecstatic. Shannon the bride was planning this wedding from afar while finishing getting her Masters from Columbia as well as job hunting so her plate was full to say the least. You could see that this wedding was the culmination of months of planning and was the doorway into the next step of hers and Mark’s life. Shannon and Mark had the Nefesh Band from LA come and entertain for the evening and Mark came ready with his dancing shoes on and boy can this kid cut a rug. Hollye Schumacher Photography was right there documenting all of Mark’s righteous moves. Their wedding was a joyous occasion overflowing with love and laughter. When Andrea asked us to shoot her wedding in La Jolla California on July 11th we screamed ABSOLUTELY!! There is nothing a Phoenician wants more than to escape the stifling oppressive heat of July in Arizona so we were on board!! Besides the incredible 75 degree weather shooting a wedding in La Jolla was such a refreshing change of pace. Everything about this experience was incredible from the resort where the couple got ready which was Estancia La Jolla Hotel to the church the La Jolla Christian Fellowship to the reception venue which was The Darlington House. It was all a blank canvas for us and we reveled in the newness of it all. Our creative juices were flowing and we went to work to create a lifelong memory of Andrea and Wes’s wedding day. Andrea the bride was stunning. She works in fashion so her dress was sexy, sassy and unique. The groomsmen were just as fashion forward with their skinny jeans, skinny ties and suspenders that Andrea outfitted them in. The reception venue the Darlington House was elegant and the decor well thought out by the bride. It was a floral utopia. Each table had endless jars and vases of flowers. The table numbers were painted chabby chic white and placed on stacks of books to represent their love of literature. My favorite detail had to be the chandelier that they found and hung above their cake. As a self described “do it yourselfer” these super cute details were the brainchild of Andrea and executed by Amorology Weddings. The whole affair was a pleasure to document which we did right along side of Jill Thomas Photography. We had the most amazing time shooting Andrea and Wes in a new city, at a new venue for us and with different wedding vendors. Andrea and Wes here is a sneak peek of things to come…

Holly and Fred had a summer getaway Sedona wedding on the 4th of July at The Enchantment Resort & Spa. I have had the pleasure of staying at the Enchantment Resort and I like to call it “my happy place”. It’s where I let my mind go when I am having a bad day. Just envisioning the stunning red rock canyons and peace that you feel when you are standing at the Enchantment Resort brings me comfort and my day instantly gets better. I can see why Holly and Fred chose to devote their lives to one another at this incredibly magical place. The bride was glowing and the groom was swooning over his stunning bride to be. They were flirty and playful with one another all day and it was just too cute! We had the pleasure of documenting Holly and Fred’s stolen kisses and sneaky smiles with Sedona Bride Photography, one of our favorite Photographers to work with. Christine on her wedding day was over the moon with nerves, excitement and full of pure joy. Her groom to be Jeremy was totally chill and laid back and a go with the flow type of guy. But when they get together they are a fun loving couple who is just plain giddy around each other. Just watch them during the reception as they sing to each other. They had a summer wedding at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with a reception at The Seville Country Club. A Day To Cherish was there to make this day unforgettable for the bride and groom and make sure it was a flawless event. Enjoy Christine and Jeremy’s Wedding Movie Trailer.

Ivy and Larry are quite possibly the loveliest couple ever. Watching their Wedding Movie Trailer just makes me smile and excited to put together the finished wedding film. They are so sweet, genuine and totally in love. They are beautiful people and you just want to squeeze them because they are just the warmest people you are ever going to meet. Their black tie wedding was held at The Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center on June 5th. Their colors were red and black and they had a bunch of super cute details to make this color scheme complete. My favorite details were the fabric drape they had at the entrance to the ballroom. It made such a statement and created interest for when they made their Grand Entrance. I also LOVED their cake. It was another almost too pretty to eat cakes and then of course they had a yummy candy bar that their guests absolutely loved. But most important I loved this couple. They were cool as cucumbers on their wedding day just enjoying each and every moment together with their friends and family. You could just see Ivy taking in every moment and making a memory. It took a long time to find one another and you could see just how excited and sure that they had each found “the one”. Ivy and Larry planned this event over the past year and got all of the details squared away early on so they could just enjoy it all and when it came time to celebrate they weren’t stressed and that’s the way it should be. Thank you Ivy and Larry for allowing us to be a part of documenting your love.
