Nicole and Danny got married in June at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and celebrated their wedding at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. At first I about fell over that they wanted a summer wedding in Arizona but if you are doing a church wedding and having a reception at a resort it can absolutely work without people sweating to death. These two have a great story of “love can conquer all”. They actually had a long distance relationship for the first two years. The distance and making it through that challenge is what made them so sure that they were ready to get married. This couple are just so sweet to one another. John and Amanda planned a destination wedding weekend in Arizona this last May. They got married at the beautiful Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. Their family and friends came all the way from Michigan to see these two join their lives together. What was amazing about this wedding weekend extravaganza was that they had both an Indian Wedding and Christian Ceremony. The first 2 days of their celebration were the traditional Indian Ceremony complete with the Henna Party, Sangeet and the groom riding in on a white horse to the actual Ceremony. The last day was the traditional Christian Ceremony. I loved seeing these two families and cultures come together and embrace each others customs and traditions. I don’t think I have ever seen a wedding with more florals than John and Amanda’s wedding. Their Florist Indera Daya specialized in Indian Weddings and was from California. Check out these florals in their wedding film. There are no words. Their whole event was just so fabulous. It was chocked full of details from the bobble head dolls of the couple on top of the cake to the ice sculpture shaped as a heart with a stethoscope carved into it because John is a Cardiologist. Jennifer and Jeff got married at the Brophy Chapel on May 9th. I love the Brophy Chapel. It’s got great architecture, beautiful wood pews and fabulous chandalier’s. When a bride walks down the aisle at Brophy her entrance makes a statement as she makes her way down the long aisle to meet her groom. Now Jennifer and Jeff were just super cute. They were smiling from ear to ear and just couldn’t wait to marry one another. They were downright giddy and just ready to make the commitment. They then had their reception at the beautiful Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. They had some super cute details like the Jones Soda bottles with their photos on them. Their table numbers were also childhood photos of both Jennifer and Jeff. We were luck enough to get to work with some of our favorite vendors including Jennifer Bowen Photography who is phenomenal at just being in the moment when she shoots. She captured amazing images of Jennifer and Jeff throughout the day. Ray The DJ was in the house getting the dance floor jumpin’. Jennifer and Jeff were so much fun to work with! We hope that they remain forever giddy over one another!!
