Matt and Lori got married in October at the beautiful Brophy Wedding Chapel and then made their way to The Royal Palms to celebrate their nuptials. It was a gorgeous event planned by the fabulous ladies at Outstanding Occasions. I have made this observation with the OO ladies and it still stands true with Matt and Lori’s wedding. A wedding planned by Outstanding Occasions is always one with a unique and always striking color scheme. One I would not otherwise put together but when I see it it’s pure eye candy. So get ready…. Eggplant, Navy and Red was Lori’s color scheme. I would never think of it, but it was everywhere and it was incredible. One of my favorite details of this wedding were Lori’s sassy Carrie Bradshaw Sex In The City shoes.
Lori and Matt are head over heals in love. You will hear the passion and love that they have for one another in their interviews. Their family and friends were just tickled that they found one another and fell in love. It is so funny how parents just know when their kids have found “the one”. Both of their parents comment on it. Everyone in their life says that they are a perfect match. Thank you to Lori and Matt for allowing us to be a part of documenting your wedding day!

Ah The Royal Palms Resort…. Hands down one of the most magnificent venues for couples to have their wedding. When a couple calls and says that their wedding is at The Royal Palms we get all excited because we just know that it is going to be spectacular and super fun to shoot. The gardens, the feel of the resort, it’s beauty. I could go on and on… Nicole and Chris had their wedding celebration on October 9th at this fabulous venue. They wed in the Alegra Garden which is intimate and secluded. I loved that the garden doors flew open and Nicole made her grand entrance. With the sunlight behind her it was breathtaking. My favorite part of her ceremony was that the minister did not face the crowd in fact he had his back to the crowd and Nicole and Chris were on the steps above their guests. This set up really made the couple the focus of the ceremony rather than the minister and I thought that was special. It was a beautiful night, a beautiful couple, a beautiful celebration. Nicole and Chris were stunning and so in love. It seemed like every time we turned around they were sneaking a kiss. So cute. Here is Nicole and Chris’s Wedding Film. May they spend the rest of their married life sneaking kisses.
We had the pleasure of working with these vendors at Nicole and Chris’s wedding:

Erin and Jim have a great story…. They met on a flight. They had assigned seats and cupid sat them next to one another. After doing weddings and hearing every amazing love story that our couples have I truly believe the universe brings people together and the universe brought Erin and Tim together.
Erin and Jim got married in October at St. Patrick’s Church in Scottsdale and Ollie The Trolley took them across town to celebrate their wedding vows at the fabulous Royal Palms Resort & Spa. They had a gorgeous reception with all of the details carefully executed by Imoni Events. Erin and Jim were ear to ear with smiles all evening and just so excited about the lifelong commitment they made to one another. They danced the night away and celebrated with family and friends. There were so many details to this wedding that I loved. Her florals by Flora Europa were unique and bright and the fall colors popped against the bridesmaids dresses. It was all just so beautiful and perfect just like the happy couple. We wish Erin and Jim a long and happy marriage.
Thank You to these fabulous Vendors for making Erin and Jim’s Wedding Day beautiful!

The best part of our job besides being a part of someone’s happiest day, their wedding day is seeing each brides dream wedding. Every bride has different ideas, color schemes, florals and details but it is so much fun to see a couples desires for their wedding day come to life. Every couple is so different and unique. Yael and Andrew wedding was no exception. On May 2nd, 2009, Yael and Andrew brought the “royal” to the Royal Palms Resort. From the glistening jewels on Yael’s dress, to the sparkling reflection pool and patio reception, this wedding surely shined and was far from ordinary. Planned by the bride Yael and executed by the fabulous Victoria Canada Wedding and Events Yael and Andrew’s wedding fit them perfectly. Their beautiful wedding ceremony was held in the center of the Royal Palms garden courtyard, surrounded by the lush foliage of the Royal Palms, elegant rose petals, and most importantly the bride and grooms family and loved ones. When the romantic ceremony ended, guests headed to the Cocktail Hour and enjoyed tasty food stations with chefs preparing their choice of tender meats, pasta, or even potato pancakes. Refreshing margaritas and light sangria were passed around, but the real fun started as soon as the reception began. The ballroom was decked out with lounge furniture and small tables to create the atmosphere of more of a cocktail party where people could mix, mingle and dance the night away. Fun was had by all as the guests as they danced the night away with entertainment provided by Blackberry Jam. Keith Pitts Photography who is awesome to work with was there to capture all of the moments of Yael and Andrew’s day. The fabulous florals were created by The Flower Studio. It was a beautiful night and the start of a beautiful life together. Congratulations to Yael and Andrew!

If you haven’t ever heard of Style Me Pretty get ready for some eye candy. It is a FABULOUS wedding blog that has the latest and greatest in wedding trends. Style Me Pretty has so much to offer the “style obsessed” bride ( a term coined by SMP). Anyway they have Inspiration Boards for all types of brides whether you are Contemporary, Traditional, on a budget, etc. There is something for every bride on Style Me Pretty. There are also Photo Galleries a DIY board and an Ideas section of the blog and of course the Little Black Book of Vendors. About a year and a half ago Serendipity Videography was asked to be one of the Style Me Pretty Little Black Book preferred vendors. We were ecstatic because they only choose a few vendors per category per region and they are very selective, Martha Stewart follows this blog for pete’s sake so to be asked was a huge honor! Anyway one of the weddings we were a part of last November was featured on the SMP Little Black Book Blog today. They only put the most beautiful, unique and detailed weddings on SMP so we were ecstatic! The couple was Laura and Brian and they were married at The Royal Palms on November 22nd. Laura and Brian literally know everyone in this town and might be the nicest couple we have ever worked with. They were high school sweethearts and had been dating since the 9th grade and still as in love as the day they met. Since their wedding they have sent us 4 of their friends who are getting married this year so we are happy that we will be seeing them again and again. Their wedding was a Victoria Canada Weddings and Events wedding so that alone qualifies Laura and Brian’s wedding to be featured on SMP. Victoria’s weddings scream fabulous and exude creativity in every detail so now you know that you are in for a treat! The Photographer was Hollye Schumacher whose work is fantastic and speaks for itself. So feast your eyes on fabulousness and take a look at the posting and then take a peek at their wedding film.
