Dana and Carson had a fall wedding at Sassi. We LOVE shooting at Sassi. They have an incredible venue to shoot a wedding. Gorgeous views and sunsets, an excellent ceremony site with lots of nooks and crannies around the property to take photos and then of course there is the tuscan architecture that just makes the venue feel warm and cozy. Dana was drawn to the signature Serendipity Videography storytelling style that focuses on couples details of their wedding day. It was so important to her to see the look on Carson’s face when he saw her for the first time. The reveal is one of my favorite parts of the wedding film along with the photo session because it is just to intimate and personal. This couple had an incredible photo session guided by the one and only Stuart Thurlkill of Eyes 2 See Photography. Dana and Carson were drawn to each other as you will hear in their interviews and knew quickly that they were meant to be. I love that Carson asked Dana’s dad’s permission for her hand in marriage. I think that is so respectful. Their wedding was a true celebration of their love.
Dana and Carson worked with these fantastic vendors to make their wedding day special:

Katherine and Josh got married in August at Sassi. Sassi is a beautiful property that doesn’t need much decor because the venue and the ballroom are so tastefully decorated. It is also one of the best venues in the valley to shoot wedding photos. The backdrop is the desert with an incredible mountainscape. When the photos are shot at sunset it is just so romantic. When I met with Katherine her vision for her wedding was all about being elegant. She had chosen Tiffany Blue and Black and Cream as the colors. The word “Tiffany” is just associated with elegance and Katherine exuded classic elegance. Her dress selection was so classic and flattering. She did something I don’t see often which was change her hair for the reception. She had an updo for the wedding and free flowing fabulousness for the reception. She and Josh also did a choreographed first dance which is just so fun. We had the pleasure of working with Ray The DJ, A + R Fine Art Photography and Design in Decor for the florals. Take a peek at Katherine and Josh’s wedding film. Congratulations!

Elizabeth and Adam wed at Sassi on May 24th. Sassi is an incredible venue to get married. It is has a rich tuscan theme with lots of stone work and fabulous views. Being located in North Scottsdale there are some gorgeous mountains that make for incredible sunset pictures. What I love about this venue is that it is intimate. The ballroom feels warm and cozy with it being adorned with fireplaces . Plus it has good chandeliers and a warm wall color. I know that sounds weird but it matters right ladies? Elizabeth and Adam had a gorgeous wedding executed by Imoni Events. In case you haven’t noticed we at Serendipity Videography are “Pro Wedding Planner”. Wedding Planners are worth their weight in gold. A Wedding Planner not only executes your vision but they handle any and everything that arises throughout the day leaving you available to enjoy your family, friends and your new groom. Planners are a first class ticket to a stress free and enjoyable wedding day. Imoni Events is fantastic at taking a couples vision and bringing it to life on their wedding day. You will see what I mean when you watch their wedding film. Now all of the weddings we shoot are beautiful but Elizabeth and Adam’s wedding will always stand out to me. Take a look at their details….. The Chuppah is awesome be sure to notice it. Her florals were by Petal Pushers and they were just so soft and elegant looking. Her centerpieces with the crystals dangling from them added so much sparkle to the room. Plus I just loved how they had the tables set. They did long tables instead of rounds with Shavari Chairs. The whole thing was just “fantabulous” Melissa Jill was their Photographer so you know their photos were to die for… And just in case you didn’t know she turns your photos around in 48 hours… Unbelievable. SKM Entertainment was in the house and is one of our favorite DJ’s to work with because not only do they rock the house but they just have such a professional set-up and are all about working with the vendors as a team. You could just tell that Elizabeth and Adam put so much thought into what kind of a wedding they wanted to have. There was so much emotion and love throughout the day. Be sure to watch for Elizabeth and Adam’s first look and how emotional Elizabeth’s dad is throughout the day. Each detail was carefully mulled over and well thought out. It was elegant, beautiful and definitely a day to be remembered by all who were there to celebrate. Congratulations to Elizabeth and Adam, the happy couple!!!!
