A few weeks ago Jeff, Sean and I embarked on a journey to Charleston, SC to spend a week with some of the countries and worlds most talented event filmmakers. We attended InFocus Event Filmmaking Conference. A few months before that I attended POSH which is a Women in Filmmaking Conference that seriously changed my life and how I approached my business. With many of the same attendees I knew this conference was going to blow our minds as well and it did. The talent and inspiration in that room was infectious. What I LOVED most about this conference was how the purpose of it is to elevate the industry and make everyone better. Every filmmaker in that room was so open to sharing information and teaching what has worked for them or what their failures have been so that others don’t do the same things. Jeff, Sean and I learned, brainstormed and talked for hours about what the next steps for Serendipity are going to be. I took pages and pages of notes and as I reviewed those notes I couldn’t WAIT to get home and start their implementation. Many in the industry who know me know that I am always looking to evolve our business and take it to the next level and get ready people because an evolution/ revolution of Serendipity is underway!!!
