I dig this couple… Shawna and Chad are two of the most down to earth cool people ever. What a pleasure it was to shoot their Love Story and their Wedding Film. Take a look at Shawna and Chad’s story of their love.

Five years ago EVERYONE had to have a Photo Montage playing at their Reception with a lifetime of photos of the bride and groom set to music. Well the Photo Montage has now evolved into The Love Story. This is the new trend in wedding cinematography and it’s a must have. A Love Story is just the that…. It tells the story of your love and what ultimately led you down the aisle. The bride tells her story, the groom tells his and then the couple banters back and forth about whose story is more accurate. The Love Story gives your guests a chance to know your history and get to know you as a couple. It’s a real crowd pleaser when it’s shown at the reception because guests have never seen anything like it.

Take a gander at Allison and Matt’s Love Story…

More and more these days couples are incorporating a “Love Story” as part of their wedding cinematography. A “Love Story” is as simple as it sounds… It is a story of a couples love. It tells the story of how they met, when they knew that he/she was “the one” and ultimately how he proposed. The Serendipity style of doing a Love Story is to interview the bride and groom separately then together. Then we weave together the various interviews as a story to show the timeline of events that ultimately led them down the aisle. It’s amazing the emotion and the feelings that come out in these pieces. It’s also so funny to hear her side of the story then his side of the story of how they met. Guys and girls perceptions are always so different. It’s almost as if they met two totally different people the day when their paths crossed for the first time.

Meet Emily and Dustin. They are getting married this Fall down in Tucson and their journey down the aisle has been 10 years in the making. They wanted their Love Story to depict the casual and fun side of their relationship yet show that they are ready for this next step and what they think a life together will mean. These two are the coolest, most chill people to hang with. Spending an afternoon with them on the beach in Santa Monica I can see what makes this couple tick and why they are so in love. We can’t wait to document their wedding day this Fall.

Vangie & Nate have an awesome Love Story. It is all very fairytale and they lived happily ever after which is why they chose to get married this summer at The Castle At Ashley Manor. They met online as most couples do these days and they had their first date one week before Nate was being deployed to Korea. That E-Harmony is magic and sure knows its stuff! Once Nate left to Korea for a year, he faithfully called Vangie every morning at 6 am to build their relationship.  He flew Vangie to Korea three times, and consistantly pursued her.  Through this, they fell in love.  Vangie and Nate have literally spent less than 3 months in the same city together. Nate is a Fighter Pilot serving our country and has been overseas or across the country for most of their courtship. Vangie has been here waiting for her prince to come. So they have made trips to see each other but its a few days here a week or so there. Part of what they think is most special about their relationship is that they have built a foundation based on an emotional connection rather than a physical connection because  much of their relationship is over the phone, text or Skype. So they have peeled the layers of the onion and know each other deep down. They both feel strongly about having built a solid foundation in Christ and made him the center of their relationship. My favorite part about this couple is that the theme of the entire wedding and their story is Worth The Wait. Having overcome the challenges of a long distance relationship this Love Story represents a long road that finally has its happy ending on June 3rd. Join me and journey through the story of Vangie and Nate’s Love Story: Worth The Wait.
