Sara and Joel tied the knot in October at the Arizona Grand Resort. Now I just adore this couple. On top of just being so cool to work with they are just so sentimental. Their entire wedding was meaningful and paid tribute . They had so many personal touches in their decor. They LOVE to travel so they had each table centerpiece be a tribute to that place and their trip. My favorite table centerpiece was the one dedicated to their trip to France and to the Eiffel Tower. Their Gobo Light on the dance floor even reflected their love of travel. Sara and Joel also did a table that was packed full of wedding photos of their parents and grandparents that celebrated the commitment those before them had made to one another. Everything about their wedding was unique and personal to them as a couple and meant something to them. Speaking of unique…. Check out Sara’s wedding dress. She gets the award from this last Fall wedding season for “Most Unique and Fabulous” wedding dress! Congratulations to Sara and Joel may life take you on an amazing adventure!

Thank you to these vendors for capturing their vision and making Sara and Joel’s wedding unique:

Lacey and Scott got married at the Brophy Chapel January 16th and had their reception at the hip and chic Firesky Resort and Spa in Scottsdale. I loved Lacey’s colors for her wedding. She did red, black, white and damask. So many brides are afraid of red because of its boldness but I think it is fantastic. There were some super cute details that I loved about their wedding. The flips flops for the bridesmaids to wear to party the night away at the reception were so cute. Then be sure to check out her cake. Staying true to her theme it is red, black, white and damask. It’s beautiful! My favorite detail was Lacey’s red heels. More and more you are seeing brides wearing colored shoes and I love this trend. It really helps them express their personality and bring in yet another element to their color scheme. Congratulations to the newlyweds!!

Thank you to these vendors for making Lacey and Scott’s Wedding Day so perfect:

Bridal Bootcamp 2010 was a SMASHING success!! In case you missed it Bridal Bootcamp 2010 was held last weekend at The Arizona Biltmore. It was the brilliant idea of Victoria Canada of Victoria Canada Weddings and Events. It was a brides guide to style down the aisle. The purpose was to help brides whip their wedding into shape. There were so many things that I LOVED about being a part of this event… First and foremost it was the “unbridal show”. It was not sales based, it was education based. The vendors role there was not to sell our services directly. It was to educate brides about our particular specialty. So during my sessions I talked about why Videography is a “must have” in your wedding budget, emerging trends in Videography, how to pick a Videographer that matches your style and taste and the Videographer/Photographer relationship and why it is so important on your wedding day. The second thing I loved was that it was an intimate experience. There were not 10,000 people crowded into a space. There were not people shouting at you and stuffing flyers into your bag. It was casual and conversational. You were able to have a chat with a bride and answer her questions in a non-intimidating environment. The vendors were there to be a resource not give a sales pitch which was so refreshing to both the brides and the vendors. As vendors we were able to share our knowledge and give expert advice. The third thing I loved was that I was able to mosey about and listen to the other vendors presentations and mingle with other vendors. I learned make-up tips from Corinna Cooke, I heard Keri Chantler of Twirl Boutique talk about the role of a Maid of Honor and how to give a meaningful and emotional speech, Rhonda Rush of Impact Events discussed the role of a planner. As I made my way around the room I learned some fantastic ideas about how to give your paper products a punch without breaking the bank by Rene Showalter at Celebrations In Paper, as well as different linen color trends that are emerging from Laurie Southwick of Southwick Linens and finally I learned how to be beautiful in photos by Eyes Too See Photography and why Engagement Sessions are so important by Melissa Jill Photography. The day overflowed with tips, tricks and ideas from Phoenix’s best and brightest wedding vendors. Thank you to all of the vendors who participated and to Victoria Canada and the girls at The Biltmore who did an amazing job of putting it all together. Serendipity Videography can’t wait for the next one! Until then enjoy our mini-Highlight Film of Bridal Bootcamp 2010!

Ajay and Roshen had a spectacular 2 day wedding in January. Roshen is Hindu and Ajay is Catholic and they wanted to celebrate their wedding with both religions in mind so they did the Catholic Ceremony at St. Mary’s Basilica and had their reception at the Foothills Golf Club. Towards the end of the evening on Day 1 the Hindu festivities began with the Sangeet and Henna and the next morning their Hindu wedding celebration began at Villa Siena. This wedding was truly incredible. It took the help of quite a few Wedding Planners and Venue Coordinators including, Events Your Way with the help of Fifth Ave Events from New York who specializes in Indian Weddings. Then there was the Venue Coordinator for the Foothills Golf Club who was also hired separately to handle the “Catholic Day” and then of course the team of Coordinators from Villa Siena to pull this off. It seemed like a million different vendors working together to create this wedding masterpiece. All of this was being planned long distance while Ajay was in the Bay Area working and Roshen is finishing law school. If they can pull this off then they can do anything! When all was said and done we shot video for 23 hours and BQ Photography shot over 5000 photos so the memories from their wedding will be abundant. Stay tuned for their completed wedding film but in the meantime enjoy their Wedding Movie Trailer.

Erin and Jim have a great story…. They met on a flight. They had assigned seats and cupid sat them next to one another. After doing weddings and hearing every amazing love story that our couples have I truly believe the universe brings people together and the universe brought Erin and Tim together.

Erin and Jim got married in October at St. Patrick’s Church in Scottsdale and Ollie The Trolley took them across town to celebrate their wedding vows at the fabulous Royal Palms Resort & Spa. They had a gorgeous reception with all of the details carefully executed by Imoni Events. Erin and Jim were ear to ear with smiles all evening and just so excited about the lifelong commitment they made to one another. They danced the night away and celebrated with family and friends. There were so many details to this wedding that I loved. Her florals by Flora Europa were unique and bright and the fall colors popped against the bridesmaids dresses. It was all just so beautiful and perfect just like the happy couple. We wish Erin and Jim a long and happy marriage.

Thank You to these fabulous Vendors for making Erin and Jim’s Wedding Day beautiful!
