Ah The Royal Palms Resort…. Hands down one of the most magnificent venues for couples to have their wedding. When a couple calls and says that their wedding is at The Royal Palms we get all excited because we just know that it is going to be spectacular and super fun to shoot. The gardens, the feel of the resort, it’s beauty. I could go on and on… Nicole and Chris had their wedding celebration on October 9th at this fabulous venue. They wed in the Alegra Garden which is intimate and secluded. I loved that the garden doors flew open and Nicole made her grand entrance. With the sunlight behind her it was breathtaking. My favorite part of her ceremony was that the minister did not face the crowd in fact he had his back to the crowd and Nicole and Chris were on the steps above their guests. This set up really made the couple the focus of the ceremony rather than the minister and I thought that was special. It was a beautiful night, a beautiful couple, a beautiful celebration. Nicole and Chris were stunning and so in love. It seemed like every time we turned around they were sneaking a kiss. So cute. Here is Nicole and Chris’s Wedding Film. May they spend the rest of their married life sneaking kisses.

We had the pleasure of working with these vendors at Nicole and Chris’s wedding:

Sometimes we get so caught up in the fact that we document people’s love that we forget that we too are married and in love and that our love deserves to be celebrated. Jeff and I knew it was Valentine’s Day but forgot to acknowledge it until he was racing out the door to shoot a Valentines Day Wedding at The Biltmore. We have been married 10 years this July and I am grateful every day that we are still happily married especially since we work together…. So “Happy Valentines Day” my love! Here’s to many romantic engagements this evening that lead to many phone calls of people wanting a fabulous Videographer to document their love!!

Here’s Jeff and I on our wedding day July 2nd 2000 in Maui. No comments on the gloves they were very in 10 years ago…

Amber and Warren are the couple who are just so in love that they are in their own little love bubble and the world around them just melts away. When I met with them and we were chatting about the details of their upcoming wedding they were sitting on the couch together with their arms around each other and Amber laid her head on Warren’s shoulder and it was just so sweet. All of the details of their wedding were secondary. You could tell that their wedding day was all about joining their lives together and making an eternal commitment to one another. What stood out to me the most about their wedding day was their sense of family and closeness to their friends. Amber’s parents, both of them, were by her side in that last hour before she walked down the aisle. Most of the time it is just mom, and dad swings by just moments before the ceremony to pick up the bride right before the wedding but in her case it was mom and dad right there until it was time. Mom was carrying her dress while dad was taking it all in. In all of the weddings we have done I have never seen this and I loved it. I also loved how Amber had 8 of her nearest and dearest friends walk down the aisle before the bridal party signifying their importance in her life. Amber and Warren have a ton of friends and if they all were in the bridal party there literally would have been 40 people standing up with them so I thought this was a cool way to honor those friendships. Again something I had never seen done before. And now to the details…. Take notice of Amber and Warren’s cake, very fabulous and very unique. And finally be sure to notice their first dance. It was choreographed which makes for such great video and I recommend all of our couples to do it. Their wedding and it’s details were planned and executed by the “worth her weight in gold” Victoria Canada of Victoria Canada Weddings and Events. The Venue was the beautiful InterContinental Montelucia. Moments were captured by Keith Pitts Photography. Florals design by The Flower Studio. Entertainment was The Walkens and photobooth was by AZ Photobooth Company. Congratulations Amber and Warren, a reminder of what true love is all about!

Molly and Jose’ got married in October at The Wyndham in Downtown Phoenix. Now they wanted something different than the signature Serendipity storytelling style for their wedding film and we were loving that because at Serendipity we are all about customizing your wedding film to your needs and desires as a couple. While most of our couples choose us for our storytelling style we love to deviate and shoot documentary style every once in a while. Molly and Jose just wanted us to capture their day and events as it unfolded and we were happy to do so. We loved shooting Molly and Jose’s urban wedding. Their wedding was something new and different from the traditional Arizona resort scenery. Their ceremony was on the roof so you had a view of all of the buildings around you so the backdrop was unique. There were so many details that I loved about Molly and Jose’s wedding…. First of all I am a lover of all things pink and Molly’s bridesmaid wore hot pink pumps so that was just fun. Then she chose bright pink and green bouquets which again I just loved. They also had a photo booth with a chest of dress up clothes and accessories which added a real playful vibe to their event. Aleasha Shelton of A Day To Cherish was in charge of pulling Molly and Jose’s whole event together and did so beautifully. It was an evening full of memories that will never be forgotten. Thank you Molly and Jose for allowing us to document your love! Thank you to these vendors for doing a fabulous job:

DJ: Ray The DJ

Venue: Wyndham Phoenix
