We have added Grayhawk Golf Club to the Venue Showcase section of our blog. If you have never checked it out the Venue Showcase is on the left side of the blog. The purpose of it is for brides to see what a venue looks like “dressed” for a wedding. We used a compilation of the weddings we have shot at these venues to show couples different color schemes, different set-ups and different Ceremony and Reception sites at each venue. It is a resource for a bride to check out while she is making her choice on where to get married.

Grayhawk Golf Club is our newest addition and it is a beautiful venue to get married. The Ceremony site has incredible views and the property has gorgeous sunset shots. You also have the ability to hop in a golf cart and use the different holes as the backdrop to fabulous photos. I always love the way the green fairways pop in a couples photos and video. If a country club wedding is your vision Grayhawk may be your venue.

We had the pleasure of shooting Elizabeth and Rene’s wedding on November 1st at DC Ranch Country Club. We have had the opportunity to shoot many weddings at DC Ranch this Fall and we just love it there!!!! The scenery, the reception courtyard, the stairwell that is the perfect spot for the “First Look”… It all is just so fabulous!! This wedding was an Outstanding Occasions production so it was nothing short of spectacular! What I loved most about this wedding was Elizabeth and Rene’s story. She is a southern gal from Louisiana and Rene is from Austria. These 2 really never should have met. They are from two totally different worlds but those worlds collided via the internet!!! They met online!! We have shot a number of couples that have met online and I am always so fascinated how with all of the vastness of the endless universe of the internet how it brings 2 people together from 2 different parts of the world and they are a perfect match!!! What is even more interesting is that they both lived in Tempe when they met online. So weird and so meant to be!!!! She with her southern accent, Rene with his accent from Austria they are just so stinkin’ cute and so in love I just wanted to squeeze them. The other thing that I loved about their wedding was their color scheme. I have commented on this before but every wedding we have ever done with Outstanding Occasions always has the most unusual color schemes. They are always so vibrant and unlike anything I have ever seen! This wedding was no exception, the colors were gray, burnt orange and ivory. Love it!!! BQ Photography was there to capture every one of the magnificent details and capture some fantastic sunset photos!! EastonAshe was in the house to entertain the guests and keep the dance floor jumpin all night. They were awesome! The florals were done by the amazing Petal Pushers. Here is a taste of what is to come with their wedding film!!

John and Amanda planned a destination wedding weekend in Arizona this last May. They got married at the beautiful Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. Their family and friends came all the way from Michigan to see these two join their lives together. What was amazing about this wedding weekend extravaganza was that they had both an Indian Wedding and Christian Ceremony. The first 2 days of their celebration were the traditional Indian Ceremony complete with the Henna Party, Sangeet and the groom riding in on a white horse to the actual Ceremony. The last day was the traditional Christian Ceremony. I loved seeing these two families and cultures come together and embrace each others customs and traditions. I don’t think I have ever seen a wedding with more florals than John and Amanda’s wedding. Their Florist Indera Daya specialized in Indian Weddings and was from California. Check out these florals in their wedding film. There are no words. Their whole event was just so fabulous. It was chocked full of details from the bobble head dolls of the couple on top of the cake to the ice sculpture shaped as a heart with a stethoscope carved into it because John is a Cardiologist.  We had the pleasure of working with these “fantabulous” vendors that made this event come together flawlessly:

A fabulous wedding for a fabulous couple!! They were truly a pleasure to work with. We wish John and Amanda a lifetime of love and happiness!! Enjoy their wedding film!
