Macelle and Michael got married in June at Tempe Center For The Arts. This is a new venue where the sky truly is the limit in terms of what you can do at the venue and how you can decorate. Since it is a theatre it has amazing lighting throughout the venue and just a really fun vibe. An event there truly feels like a night on the town. It is very different from any other venue in the valley. The ceremony site over looks Tempe Town Lake and the sunset views are incredible with the cityscape in the background. Macelle and Michael had a night wedding with the ceremony outdoors. You could tell in the planning of this wedding that Macelle wanted everything about her wedding to be unique and she succeeded in every way. Her venue was unique, having a night wedding was unique, her florals were unique. Some of my favorite details of this wedding were Macelle’s dress. Her dress was fabulously unique. It had so many different styles to it that were married together to create a gorgeous gown. I also loved the decor in her reception. Everything came together so beautifully and she had the wedding she had always dreamed of. We worked with some excellent vendors at their wedding including David De Dios Photography. They couldn’t have picked a better photographer for their style and for their venue. David’s photos are just to sexy and artistic! The Groove Merchants rocked the house and kept the party going all night. The fabulous florals were created by How Appropriate. Enjoy Macelle and Michael’s wedding film.

Kimberly Jarman Photography just opened a fabulous new studio in downtown Mesa! She already had a studio a few doors down upstairs but an opportunity to move to a store front location in the super cool and eclectic downtown Mesa came about and she jumped at the chance. The studio is awesome!! It is triple the space and offers a gallery to showcase her beautiful work, a space to do portrait sessions as well as space to meet clients. One of the other reasons we are so excited about Kimberly Jarman Photography’s new studio is that Serendipity Videography is meeting our clients at the studio. When Kim was getting ready to open we were looking for a place to meet clients that was in the East Valley so we could accommodate the East Valley brides and timing couldn’t have been more perfect!! She has got this very cool family room vibe going on in one of the rooms with a comfy leather couch and big screen projector. It is the perfect place to show clients our wedding films. Serendipity Videography went to the Grand Opening and shot this mini Highlight Film of the event. The Grand Opening was planned by Outstanding Occasions and it was indeed “outstanding”. Congratulations Kim! We are so excited to be a part of your new venture!!
Rachel and Greg are a fabulous couple. They got married on 11/7 at The Wright House. Documenting their wedding day was an absolute honor because they are just the sweetest couple and just good people. There is a random history between me and the groom. A few years back we bought a house and the groom was working for a pool builder and he built our pool. I remember 3 1/2 years ago sitting with Greg and chatting at my kitchen table about the pool he was designing for us and me being nosy I was asking if he had a girlfriend and he said he did and that she was awesome and I remember asking if he thought she was the one and he said yes….. So it was just so amazing to see this relationship come full circle. So when they showed up for their appointment with me I had no idea until I saw him and shouted “Greg, you built my pool!” They also happen to be great friends of Laura and Brian whose wedding we shot last fall at the Royal Palms. Everyone in this town knows Laura and Brian and they have sent of tons of referrals including Rachel and Greg. It truly is a small world. Anyway Rachel and Greg’s wedding was beautiful. Rachel is super organized and had everything planned almost a year in advance. You could tell by this couples kiss at the alter that they were just so ready to be married and so excited to start their new life together. Here is a taste of what is to come…. Enjoy their wedding movie trailer!!
Some of the fantastic vendors we worked with at their wedding:

Nicole and Danny got married in June at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and celebrated their wedding at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. At first I about fell over that they wanted a summer wedding in Arizona but if you are doing a church wedding and having a reception at a resort it can absolutely work without people sweating to death. These two have a great story of “love can conquer all”. They actually had a long distance relationship for the first two years. The distance and making it through that challenge is what made them so sure that they were ready to get married. This couple are just so sweet to one another. Just listen to their interviews and what they say about one another. It was a true honor to document their love and the joining of their lives. Enjoy their wedding film!
Hospitality Industry Professionals (HIP) is a non-profit organization designed to promote professionals doing business in the hospitality, restaurant and event planning industry by providing networking, educational and philanthropic opportunities. This year HIP did their First Annual Putt For A Purpose on September 17th at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. The “Purpose” of Putt For A Purpose was to raise money for Community Dental. Community Dental is a mobile Dental Unit that brings dental care to children who wouldn’t otherwise get it. The event was a HUGE success! HIP raised more than $4500 for Community Dental. They couldn’t have done it without some of the sponsors of this event including: Karen Doan Events, The Sanctuary Resort and Spa, Eyes 2 See Photography, SKM Entertainment, Julia Baker Confections and of course the Arizona Biltmore. Some of the HIP Members yous will see putting about are Victoria of Victoria Canada Weddings and Events, Courtney of The Royal Palms Resort and Spa and Katrina of Sedona Bride Fine Art Wedding Photojournalism. Serendipity Videography was asked to document the event and put together a mini-highlight film of this worthy cause and event. Congratulations to HIP on your first year of Putt For A Purpose being a smashing success! We look forward to next year! Check it out!
