It was always this groom’s dream to have his wedding in the backyard of his childhood home and that they did. Keith and Becky wed at Keith’s parents home in the heart of Paradise Valley. Instead of going to the Ritz-Carlton, this couple brought the Ritz-Carlton to them and had The Ritz coordinate and cater the whole event. This was no ordinary backyard. This was a “backyard oasis”. Keith and Becky designed the entire layout of the backyard for their wedding which included multiple food stations, a “Wedding Court” for the Cocktail Hour and for dancing later on in the evening. They had a special gazebo devoted just to the 6 layer cake that extended into the sky. They even had a smores station set up around a fire pit with hot cocoa and coffee for a late night snack attack. The ceremony was set in the front yard and lit perfectly for a sunset ceremony with the aisle lined with candles. The couple tied the groom’s traditional Jewish customs into their wedding ceremony by getting married at dusk, and also with the breaking of the glass as well as wedding vows spoken in Hebrew. They may have had the largest wedding party we have ever seen. There were so many people standing up with them that they had to make two lines to accommodate the bridal party! It was fantastic!

One thing I love is when couples put their personal stamp on their wedding. Keith and Becky love the local band The Chadwicks so they asked them to take a night off from Martini Ranch to play their wedding reception.  The Chadwicks rocked the party with great tunes that got everyone out on the dance floor. Keith and Becky of course did the traditional Hora Dance which is always a good time to watch as the bride has a happy yet terrified look on her face. All the beautiful details of the wedding were captured by LaCombe Photography. Keith and Becky’s wedding was elegant, traditional and fit this couples personality perfectly. It was an honor to document their wedding day.

We have added the beautiful Villa Siena to our Venue Showcase. Villa Siena is a fabulous Tuscan Villa complete with great architecture, a gorgeous courtyard to say your vows, bubbling fountains and long hallways for dramatic photos. The ballroom is also exquisite with rich wood paneling and fabulous chandeliers. It is large enough to accommodate a large wedding. If a bride envisions a Tuscan Villa rich in beauty to have her wedding celebration Villa Siena is the place for her.

Anabell and Temujin wed on April 25th at Tubac Golf Resort. Shooting at Tubac Golf Resort was a first for Serendipity Videography. I have to say it was such a unique experience. Tubac Golf Resort is located about 20 minutes south of Tucson and it is gorgeous. The architecture of this hacienda property was exquisite. There were lots of big wooden doors, beautiful mature trees that were perfect for shooting silouhettes and they had a gorgeous chapel on property where Anabell and Temujin said their vows. This was a Victoria Canada Weddings & Events affair so as always you know you are in for some delightful details and a flawless event. There were so many beautiful elements to this wedding. The first being the bride Anabell. She was stunning in her form fitting dress and gold Jimmy Choo heals. Her smile throughout the day was infectious. This couple had so much passion and respect for one another. You could just see on the faces of the guests that they were so excited about this union. Some of the unique elements to this wedding…. Anabell’s dog was a part of the Ceremony and was adorned with her own floral collar. She made her way down the aisle and was a part of the wedding party which was so much fun. Then there were the floral centerpieces that were actually hanging from the ceiling which is something I had never seen before. Then finally the entertainment…. Anabell and Temujin had one of the most rockin’ wedding receptions we have ever shot. It was like Mardi Gras. The joint was jumpin’. The band Techno Show had costume changes, people on stilts and props that they handed out to the guests like hats, balloons and glow sticks. There wasn’t a guest in the house who wasn’t on the dance floor. LaCombe Photography was on hand to capture this gorgeous wedding and wild and crazy reception. It truly was “fantabulous” yes “fantabulous” a word I made up that is a combination of fantastic and fabulous. It is the only word to describe this celebration. Congratulations to Anabell and Temujin! May they enjoy many years of laughter and love.

We just wanted to draw your attention to the left side of our blog and introduce you to the Serendipity Videography Venue Showcase section. This section showcases some of the valley’s most beautiful and popular wedding venues. We shoot at these venues so often that we edited together mini-films with all of the different weddings we have shot at each location so that brides can get an idea of what each venue looks like when it is “dressed” for a wedding. Often times when brides take a tour of a venue they don’t get to see the room set for a wedding. These films give you ideas as well as a visual picture of how each venue can be set for a wedding. Stay tuned for many more Venue Showcase Films to come. Here are the films showcasing these venues:
