We had the pleasure of shooting Amanda and John’s wedding in late May. They are from Michigan and did a Destination Wedding to sunny Arizona at the Westin Kierland Resort. This wedding was a 4 day extravaganza. It was an Indian wedding and a Christian wedding so they did all of the traditions of an Indian wedding for days 1-3 then concluded on day 4 with a Christian wedding ceremony. What was also amazing was that they planned this entire celebration from across the country! The whole event was stunning! Indian weddings are steeped in traditions that date back thousands of years. The colors are vibrant, the outfits are intricate, and everything they do has such deep meaning. The groom even arrived to the ceremony on a white horse. The whole experience was incredible! Thank you Amanda and John for allowing us to document your weekend wedding extravaganza. We had a blast!! Here is their wedding trailer.
At Amanda and John’s wedding we had the pleasure of working with these awesome vendors:

Serendipity Videography was lucky enough to have 3 of our couples weddings featured in the current issue of Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine.
Couple #1
Aimee and Matt Coxhead married at The Sanctuary last October. You can read their story here. My favorite part of this wedding was the bride’s hot pink shoes!! They were adorable!! It was a fabulous wedding!! You can see their wedding film here. We had the pleasure of working with some fantastic vendors like:
The Sanctuary

Couple #2
Jessica and Alex Cole. You can read about their wedding here. Now this couple was a Destination Wedding and they choose the beautiful Westin Kierland to tie the knot. Their event was planned by Outstanding Occasion and was chocked full of super cute details. My favorite thing about their wedding was their colors. They were navy and pink right down to the grooms socks. Another night of working with totally fabulous vendors including:
Westin Kierland
Outstanding Occasions

Linda Wagner Make-up Artist
Couple #3
Mindy and Jonathan Schwartz. This couple and wedding was super hip. It was held at the Hotel Valley Ho which is super chic. My favorite thing about this wedding was when the couple came in for their Grand Entrance they wore boa’s and hats and the groom performed a dance for the bride when they did the garter toss to Wayne’s World’s “Foxy” song. You can read about their wedding here and watch their wedding film here. We had the distinct pleasure of working with these vendors at their wedding:
The Hotel Valley Ho

SKM Entertainment
The Invitation Lady
Three totally fabulous couples, three totally different weddings. That is what is so fun about our job is that each and every couple and wedding is so different. I love to see each bride’s vision carried out on her wedding day and being there to document it!
Thank you to Phoenix Bride and Groom magazine for selecting these weddings to showcase as well as all of the vendors who submitted these beautiful events!!
About a month ago we got a call from the ladies at Outstanding Occasions asking us if we would like to be a part of an event called Art & Soul, “Unleashing Creativity”. The event was the brain child of Phyllis Lane who is not only an amazing Photographer but is the most creative person ever. She co-produced a film with Alajandra Nash & Rodrigo Coelho called “Unleashing Creativity” where they traveled around the country talking to various people and celebrities learning about what inspires them and how art changes peoples lives and is a positive influence to all who embrace the arts. Celebrities like Santana and Steve Nash were a part of the film. It was a very moving film that was screened at the event.
The event that was organized to raise money for Free Arts of Arizona, a non-profit organization that brings the healing powers of creative arts to abused, neglected and homeless children. The evening was produced by Outstanding Occasions and held at Inspirador in Chandler.
Serendipity Videography was asked to document the event and create a mini Highlight Film that can be used to educate people about Art & Soul. Any project with Outstanding Occasions and Phyllis Lane is bound to be a great one so we jumped on board.
Art & Soul wouldn’t be possible without some of the creative people who were sponsors of the event including:
Kelvin Photographer
Outstanding Occasions
The Invitation Lady
Inspirador
Tri-Rentals
Kool Party Rentals
Couture Books
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this meaningful event!
Mike and Andrea have a wedding coming up on July 4th at Inspirador. The event is being planned by Aleasha Shelton of A Day To Cherish so it is for sure going to be chocked full of fun details. The night will be captured by Pinkerton Photography. This couple are movie buffs so it only seemed natural to have them do a Love Story. Their entire wedding is a movie theme with a red carpet to be rolled out and everything. The plan is for their Love Story to be played for guests as they enter the ceremony. It is going to be so cool! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding!! We wanted to share Mike and Andrea’s Love Story with you.
